Guidelines
General Info
Dankdogs are an alien species of canine-flora hybrid that are organically grown from tiny alien weed seeds that are farm raised to perfection. Dankies act as sort of “service dogs” to the humans of earth and spread good vibes everywhere they go.
Dankies take place in an alternate universe(AU) where they have been around for centuries. They are featured in key historical events and are cherished, recognized members of earth’s society. They help and work with humans across the globe.

Each dog has its own unique strain with a special leaf insignia found somewhere on their bodies. Typically worn on the neck or legs as a pendant, this insignia contains vital information about the individual Dankie. (Name, Strain, and related info)

No two dogs share the same strain as this leads to quality reduction. When given proper care and attention Cannabuds do not die and will flourish in whatever field or production they belong to. They are diligent workers despite their rather lazy appearance.
All Dank dogs can grow weed and can naturally produce a smoke in their lungs by holding their breath. They use this to smoke or share their strain with others.

Most Dankies can be helpful universally but some are specifically tailored to perform jobs or tasks.
All DDs can communicate with humans, regardless of language spoken. This is due to a magical process that takes place when growing a DD. They have been around for many years and have developed ways to universally communicate with humans.
Rarity
**A note about rarity: All Dankies are inherently magical but some have more specific magic abilities. This does not necessarily mean one would be more "rare" than the other. Rarity has little to do with value and more to do with the common vs. legendary status. Rarity is only highlighted for legendary or "elite" DDs!
Common: The most usual type of Dank dog, they can be recognized by their chubbier build, large noses, cannabis flora, and special leaf Insignia.

Uncommon: DDs that have been raised with a less naturally occurring genotype, such as double ears, full flora ears, mushrooms, or crystals.

Rare: Buds that possess qualities mostly unrecognized by regular standards. These can have extra limbs, special powers, or contain two individual strains in their bodies.
​
Legendary: It is said that there is an elite group of the utmost important Dank dogs to grace the planet of earth with its presence.
Personality
All Dank dogs have been bred to be helpful and kind to the inhabitants of Earth, because of this cannabuds are known for their loyalty and compassion.

Dank dogs can not be inherently evil, at least as far as we know ;D
